We are a small trucking company looking for a mechanic to maintain our small fleet of 3 trucks and trailers along with providing occasional help to the other trucks who run with us. If you're an independent worker that likes being apart of a small team of cool people, this job is perfect for you.

Our location is in Carpio, ND about 30 minutes away from the Minot Walmart and we have an awesome shop that wont disappoint (we can send pics!). Our trucks run locally primarily doing belly dump and hopper bottom work. Our trucks all have ISX engines and 2011-2013 T660 or 386s. They are old and used, but not abused. Trailers the same.

We prefer someone that will live on site in our fully furnished apartments. All our drivers and several owner operators live in our apartment building too and it has a very comfortable vibe. This allows you to keep a flexible schedule with the ability to react to any given equipment issue. Our drivers usually start around 3am and return late afternoon. Any servicing and repairs needs to be done from 5pm-2am. The plus side of this type of work setting is there is lots of downtime (when the trucks are running well...) So, someone that can manage time well is a requirement.

Our ideal candidate would oversee all equipment (repairs, maintenance), keep shop inventories stocked, communicate intentions, repairs and updates with us owners. Occasionally we assist the other owner operators under us with their issues but only if we are in a position to.

Salary DOE $40k-80k+

Weekly workload varies 40-60hrs+
